Official Rules & Compliance Guidelines

To ensure a fair, fun, and productive environment, all participants must adhere to the following rules.

1. Eligibility & Team Structure

  • Who Can Join: We encourage everyone to participate, university students, professional developers, designers, data scientists, and non-technical creators.
  • Team Size: Teams may consist of 3 to 5 members.
  • Formation: Teams can be formed in advance (using our Discord) or at the latest on Saturday morning at the venue.
  • Finalization: All teams must be finalized and have decided on their Challenge Track by Saturday, 10:00 AM.

2. Policy (Work & Code)

  • We strongly encourage you to use the prpe time for heavy lifting, team creation, challenge selection, brainstorming and architectural planning.
  • You can use any tools you have access to during the week.
  • Lovable.dev access codes are distributed on Friday night.
  • Mentoring is available only on Saturday.

4. Intellectual Property (IP)

  • Participants retain 100% ownership of all code, designs, and IP created during the hackathon.
  • Organizers and sponsors claim no ownership but reserve the right to use project names, descriptions, and demo videos for promotional purposes.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Spirit of Creativity: We value experimentation, constructive collaboration, and the joy of creating. We are here to build, learn, and inspire.
  • Be Excellent to Each Other: Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior.
  • Responsible AI: Projects generating hate speech, explicit content, or facilitating malicious activities (malware/phishing) will be disqualified.
  • Data Privacy: Do not use real PII (Personally Identifiable Information) unless authorized. Use synthetic data or public datasets.
